Those of you who listen to my podcast and read my blog have probably noticed things have been quiet over the past several months. I’ve recently gone through a big (but very good!) transition–after almost a year of searching for a job, I was hired as an Academic Advisor at a local university. Settling into my new role has taken the bulk of my time and energy, and I haven’t had as much time to write and podcast as I did during the past year.
I’ve also been going through a transition as a writer–there is a book-length project on my heart that I want to completely throw myself into, and this will mean putting the podcast and blog on hold, at least for now. Although I don’t want to share too many of the details yet, I’ve never been so excited to write something. This project feels like what all my writing over the past decade has been leading up to, what God has been leading me up to, and, above all, I can’t wait to see what He will teach me about Himself as I meet with Him in one of my favorite ways–through the written word.
And I’m hoping that about this time next year, I’ll have emerged with a manuscript, one that is nothing like anything I’ve written before.
Thanks to all of you who have faithfully supported me in my writing and podcast up to this point; your continued encouragement to develop and exercise the gift of writing for God’s glory has meant the world to me.
Many blessings,
Hope
